Customer Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent! I have used these on my Mercedes E Class, my BMW 5 series and my Golf. I now have to buy a second set for my E-klass and the choice is clear. Originally I wanted Michelin, however, I am so satisfied I see no need to change. Better value for money on the Continetal tires. I live in Norway and the hardness of the rubber is perfect (65 to 85 Fahrenheit - 18 to 30 degrees celsius in the summer). Here in Norway we use 2 sets of tires for each car. My comments here are for tires being used from April to November. The rest of the year I use tires with metal studs. Continental ContiSportContact™ 2 is perfect for northern Europe!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not satisfied with tread life Have them as OE on a '09 Cobalt SS - fun car. For those that have this vehicle, have the Stage 1 Kit installed at your local GM dealer. You will NOT be disappointed. Now, it comes with a little baggage in that premium fuel must be used but I can fairly easiliy coax 30mpg out of the vehicle. Now, the tires, at 25,000 miles, are ALL at the wear bar. Not looking forward to replacing VERY soon. The tires allow for more aggressive driving and cornering. Hmmm - maybe that's why I'll only get 26K miles out of them... They do ride HARSH in cold weather! I simply lowered the pressure to make it tolerable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than I had hoped for! These came stock on my 2008 Audi TT and I figured I would get about 20k miles out of them. Being a sporty tire what else would one expect. I have kept up on maintenance (rotating every 5k miles; maintaining proper inflation pressures with nitrogen rather than compressed air). I am looking to replace them now at almost 40k miles. I do drive a lot of Highway miles but take it out on the weekends and burn through the nearby canyons. I have not had a single issue with handling and I have a quiet ride as well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Performance I have these tires on my BMW 550i. After occasional 22,000 miles of occasional careful and safe driving, these tires are completely bold!. I am extremely disappointed in their performance and upset with the quality.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good & Bad This tire came OE on my Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V. I thought the tires where good all around, but the biggest problem was the wear. These tires only lasted me 20 months. with about 15k! And thats with rotating them twice. On a side note, I have a road bicycle with Conti's on them and they've twice developed side bulges. Had to replace them as well. Would never buy any Continental tires for my car or my bike!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice tire....but I have these tires on a 2010 BMW 550i and have had to replace the back tires twice and only have 20k miles on the car. They are great performance tires, connering is awesome, but they are two expensive to have to replace every 10k miles.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from POOR TREAD LIFE on REAR Rear tires shot after 10,000 miles -- pretty expensive at $500 each!
