Customer Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Confused Reviewers Judging from some of the comments here I believe reviewers are getting confused between the various iterations of the ContiSportContact 5, 5P, SSR and conventional. Yes the 5P SSRs found as MOE on some MB vehicles are horrid! They provide incredibly short tread life and an unforgiving ride. I had the OEM 5P SSR 235/40R20 on my GLA45 AMG and switched rims to allow conventional 5 235/45R19, and the transformation was like night and day. I would highly recommend making the switch to any GLA45 AMG owner on 20" rims wanting improved tyre life, ride quality, handling, tyre availability and reasonable cost.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful My wife’s car. Tires have less than 25000 km on them. Regularly rotated and only summer driven. Down to wear bars and extremely noisy. Replacing with Pirelli P Zero all seasons. Hopefully get a few more km from them. They’re on a Mercedes CLA45. If the next car has them on it I will refuse to purchase it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Experience I bought these tires 1 year ago for my 2016 BMW after 4 months of driving 2K miles the front tires start noising like i have problem in the front wheel bearing , so i took the car to bmw dealer and after 2 days of checking the car it shows that this sound comes from front tires.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horribly noisy! Had many Continental tires in the past but these are almost unliveable. Bought tires for two vehicles at same time, and the other set is fine. Had problem car (Subaru Outback) 4-wheel aligned but it made no difference. Major letdown for me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A true Driver's tire! The safest tire I have ever used. Takes any corners with ease. The ONLY tire I have ever driven on that I can truthfully say I can drive on the road without regard to the weather conditions. Handles superbly in the wet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice step up from OEM OEM tires are always bought on the basis of price by BMW, and minimum compliance to BMW specs. Best tyre for the car? No, Best tyre for the balance sheet P/L? Yes. Continentials are quieter and give longer tread life.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from At 10800 miles BMW recommended replacement Already, at 10800 miles, and a light driver, mostly highway miles, I only have 5mm in the front and 3mm in the rears already. These are terrible! I drive a simple, 2015 BMW 328i sedan.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I can’t believe the treadlife, don’t waste money I barely drove the car, new C300 4matic 2017. Took it for the first oil change and Mercedes is telling me your tires are dead. So noisy, very disappointed for such a brand name.
