Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Tires EVER! I’ve had these tires for one year. A couple months ago I was driving through Chicago on an eight lane freeway. A semi had dumped part of a load of steel pieces which were blowing all over the all the lanes. As I drove over them I could hear my undercarriage getting beaten. A few miles down the road, I could hear a loud rubbing sound and because I was on a toll road, couldn’t pull over for some time. When I did, I was able to see the piece of steel lodged in my wheel well, scraping against the tire. After a struggle, I was finally able to pull the piece out and examined the tire - no damage whatsoever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible Tire I purchased the Continental Control Contact Touring A/S for a Mazda 2 economy car. It had its original tires and they were noisy, hard riding and poor handling. I purchased these tires because I drive a minimum of 200 miles per day to work and back. After my first day on the road, what an incredible difference! Handling was exceptional, quiet ride and great handling! My original tires made the car feel and drive like an economy car but my first trip with these new tires I could tell that my car now rides much like a mid-size with smoothness and agility. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE TIRES ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A SMALLER CAR ... you wont believe you still are driving an economy car!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Improved my ride quality! I purchased these continental tires from a local dealer and they have introduced me into the life of contental tires! My previous tires would could not grip onto turns, they always make loud screeches when turning and people always looked, and above that, I got a flat. When I purchased these from my dealer, I could not stop looking at them! The tires look amazing in comparison to my previous tires, and other tires in general! Addittionaly, they have helped me brake very quickly when needed on the freeway. A 10/10 recomdentaion from one driver to another.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Winter Performance Today I ventured out through 1/4" of ice on top of 2" of snow where plows and other cars hadn't ventured, solid 1"+ ice refrozen most places where cars had ventured but no plows, salt, or sand... that was most of the travel with only a few roads salted, sanded, and cleared. I've never had more solid grip in those conditions with any other tire on 4WD or AWD except a bumpier ride on chains, and this was pretty grabby. Not quite a TRUE snow tire, but definitely the best M+S I've ever driven on ice and light snow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Tire I've ever owned This is an incredible tire in all respects..I put a set on my 2011 Volvo XC70 AWD..super quite..excellent wet weather grip..& a very comfortable ride too!! I replace a set of Coopers that came on the car when I purchased it Dec. '16..loudest tires I've ever heard on any of my cars couldn't wait for them to wear out & get them off .I can actually hear my engine running now.....I've never run Conti's on my cars before but after reading many reviews I decided to give a shot..I very glad I did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better grip Bought this one month ago (can't really say anything about tread life). Has much better traction than the previous tires in light snow/slush condition. With previous tire (even when new), it was almost impossible to avoid slippage when moving from a stop under snowy road condition. This tire has much better traction also in curves and breaking. I don't have the feeling that the tires are slipping. It feels a bit "harder" than the previous tires, but the noise is about the same.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid performance tire Put a set of 215/65R17’s on My Jeep Patriot after having radial pull problems with another American brand. These ride smooth and most importantly, straight. If I can say anything negative about this tire, it’s that they’re a bit reactive to grooved concrete highways we have in the area - at least on my vehicle it can feel a bit like you’re driving in a gusting crosswind as the tires react strongly to the surface grooves at times. On Asphalt there perfection.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Review of Control Contact Tour A/S tires This is my second set of these same tires. My first set went about 45K miles. I really liked them. However, I am not very happy with this second set. When driving on a freeway with grooves in the lane, they do not hold my car steady. I had the place I bought them from rotate and rebalance, after only 3K miles, it still does not handle well. Not sure if the tread design was changed. They do very good on any other roads, but not with grooved lanes. Thank you
