Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extreme bad weather I bought the LX20 CrossContact's for my 2013 Honda Pilot 4WD to replace the OEM Michelin's that came on my Pilot. I have driven it during torrential rain, in a tropical storm and during part of Hurricane Mathew and it's aftermath. The tires handle great and have never lost traction even when I hit high water on the back roads. They kept straight and ride is smooth. I am currently in the process of replacing the tires on my wife's Odyssey with a set of LX20's. I have had these on my Pilot for about 6 months and they are not showing any signs of wear. They have handled well in beach sand and moderate mud along the east coast. Great tires!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worn out at 30,000 miles These tires came installed on My brand new 2015 Chevy Suburban. All rotation, balance and alignment requirements were met at my dealer. After 26,000 the dealer notified me of uneven were on the tires and that they should be replaced. They asked me if I had it aligned per maintenance requirements. I told them yes and they were ones that did the alignment. They checked it again and it was not only in spec but dead on spec. The dealer could not find any mechanical reason for the wear. I am totally disappointed with these tires and will never buy a Continental product. My last Yukon had Michelin's that lasted 65,000 miles... guess what I'm replacing these with?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME TIRE!!! These tires are the best tires! When I purchased my 2012 Honda CRV, these tires came with it. Flash forward almost 70,000 miles and 5 years later, I'm having them replaced with new ones! These tires wore excellent. They handled rain good, and heat as well. I don't live in area where we see a lot of snow and ice, so I can't test to that. However, like all tires my husband would have to put a little more air in the tire first real dip in the weather. They were pretty fuel efficient up until about 55,000 miles, but that's when they were really starting to show wear on them. I probably gain 2-3 MPG. Overall, a driver or car owner couldn't have asked for a better tire!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Over sold I, like a couple of other customers I've read some comments on, have only gotten about 29k out of these tires. Every time I had service done to the vehicle it was performed at the dealer I purchased the vehicle from. I even purchased the tires from the dealership. Records of every time it went in the shop. All in all, I was never a Continental fan to begin with. No I think I remember why. Really disappointed. I think the overall value of the tire needs to be re-evaluated. Bad batch of rubber of whatever. I will not buy another Continental product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Okay but worst fuel economy for "ECO" branded tire I bought a full set of these tires for my Acura MDX SUV a little over a month ago; app. two weeks after purchasing, I went on a 700mi trip with the family and tracked the mileage. I went from 21-22mpg down to 17-18mpg under only highway driving... even worst yet, city economy went from 19-20mpg down to 15-16mpg. Thank goodness for cheap gas prices, but that difference is still making me re-fuel one to two days more often than I used to. I contacted customer service, and it appears as though there is some sort of "break-in" period (duration unknown by the representative I spoke to) that isn't advertised anywhere on Continental's website, but is several months. Continental's "Confidence Plan" only lasts for 60 days so I'll be returning these shortly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CrossContact LX20 I have had them on my 2002 Ford Escape 4X4 for 6 months. Quiet, great handling, and awesome in the rain. Let me repeat...they are quiet and perform well in the rain. Performed well in the snow too. Have had no issues in the mild off roading that I do. These Continental folks know how to make tires. Read the reviews on tire sites that really compare tires...they weren't lying....LX20s are great. Now I'll look at TruContact for my other car. (not writing this for continental, they really are good tires)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not pleased in the Norteast. These Cross Contact LX20 275/55/R20 tires came standard on a new 2014 Silverado 4X4 LTZ. I didn't like the tread pattern for northeast winter weather and tried to barter during sale negotiation for a all-terrain tire swap but the dealer wouldn't budge. I reluctantly accepted. They are good in summer weather and rain, ride smooth but soon realized these tires couldn't make a turn in 2WD in any amount of significant snow or slush w/o engaging 4WD. I'm a tried and true real car guy and maintain tire pressures to the book including pressure drops w/ temperature changes. Eco-friendly doesn't do much for me, I'm more about real world, I am truly disappointed in any winter weather performance of these tires 'at all'. 14K miles on these and they will probably never see 20K. I'll be shopping new tires this week. Sorry Conti.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Tire, So So Tread wear I've had these tires for two years, they are kept at the correct pressure and are rotated regularly. I put on 44,000 miles and the tread depth is at 4/32" I would hardly say this is a 70,000 Mile Tire. They have a quiet/ comfortable ride and decent traction on Dry/ Wet roads. Any type of snow on the ground they are iffy at best. I didn't see any change in fuel mileage from the stock tires. All driving is at highway speed limits and in no way "Spirited".
