Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent tires, Continental does it again I have an E46 M3 with the 19" factory rims and previously had the Continental ContiSport Contact tires. Going to these with a considerable price difference I was concerned however those concerns are all gone. I've driven them from 0 to175mph and smooth the whole way. Wonderful grip and wet performance, a little delay on availability at first but Tirerack has them stocked now. The only gripe I have is the EXTREME and CONTINENTAL lettering is pretty noticeable when looking at them from almost any distance and takes away from the "clean" look and tends to lean more towards the "I'm a ricer - Look at me" look, but thats just me. Overall excellent tire, keep up the good work!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply the best performance road tire I purchased these tires for my MX-5 Miata when they first came out. At the time, there were almost no reviews for these new tires so I made my purchase nearly on blind-faith that Continental would produce another great product. Boy was I right! These tires have outperformed all of my expectations, and are easily the best tires Continental have ever produced. Even all of the independent reviewers agree! Not only are the tires inexpensive compared to other max performance summer tires, but their capabilities are either equal or vastly superior. Braking, wet traction, and even comfort are all outstanding. The tires could use a slight improvement in feel/response, but otherwise traction is top-notch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tire I just put these on my 05 S2000 yesterday, replaced the original Bridgestone o50's. This is a reasonable priced, excellent performing, QUIET tire. I cannot believe how low the noise level is compared to the BS's. I just took them into the mountains of southern California for their first 100 miles and although I had to adjust my driving a bit because of the different tire, the cornered flawlessly. I hit the freeway on the return trip and I swear the car is 20 decibels more quiet. Great tire, great price, great performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrrifc OEM replacement tire I purchased these tires this past spring 2010 as a replacement for the OEM tires that are recommended for my Mercedes SL500. I took a chance based upon the reviews on the TireRack.com website and I am extrememly pleased with this tires performance and comfort. I really like Pirelli's and was hesitant to replace them with this Continental, but this will be the only tire I will purchase for my SL going forward. They are much more comfortable than the OEM tire and handle extremely well. They are quiet and look great on the car as well. I'd post a picture, but it's winter here now and the car is in storage until spring. :-(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quietest and Best Rain Tires These tires were special ordered for my S600 V12 Mercedes Benz coupe. I could tell the difference as soon as I pulled away from the installers lot, the backgroud sound (tire roar) was gone. The rain traction is incredible reguardless of how fast I drive. I plan to install these tires ExtremeContact™ DW on my BMW M5 next. The BMW and my 911 both have Michelin Pilots as did the S600 and they are louder and rain traction is not as good. The only thing I would change on the ExtremeContact™ DW is the sidewalls, they are kind of mat finish and with tire shine they still don't look as good as the pilots

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great balance of tradwear and performance I replaced the worn out Michelin PS2's on my CTS-V that only lasted about 15,000 miles which is pretty normal for a 200 treadwear tire. The Continentals are a bit harder but are very close in performance at speed. Turn in is a little more muted and absolute grip is tad lower, but, transient response is very predictable and they are consistent tires. I have about 47,000 miles on my car with over 600 RWHP, so these tires can last. What I really liked was the reduced weight and the straight line grip over the PS2. These will be my tire of choice on my other cars, as well, as those need replacements.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tires. Great price. Purchased staggered set of four to replace Bridgestone RE50 Pole Positions on a BMW 3 Series. What a difference! Wet dry traction and performance is outstanding. Had to get used to a little softer sidewall, but overall, what a difference. Still a little loose in snow, but what performance tire isn't. Surprised at the noise difference. Very quiet even after 10K miles. Wear looks good after 10K miles and after getting less than 30K from the Bridgestones, expect to get more from the Continentals. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a premium tire without the premium price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purchased for Boxster Replaced the OEM original tires with the "DW's". As I don't use the Boxster on the track or auto cross I was looking for a tire which offered long treadlife and high performance. As I do not drive the car in the winter month's the DW seemed to be the best fit. I did go one size larger on the fronts, and kept the rear the same size. These tires have great grip, and are quiet riding. Hydroplane is not an issue as the car is not driven in the rain, unless I get caught. I looked at a lot of tires, and took a long time to make a decision. I happy with the purchase of the DW's.
