Rated 3 out of 5 by from Short life - 2014 Mazda6 GT This was an awesome tire (even in several inches of snow) the first 10k and great tire up till 20k. but now with 21,000 miles I'm looking for replacements as performance is lacking and feels like I'm driving on jelly. Tread is almost down to the wear bars and for being a 50,000 mile tire, its unacceptable that they are worn out in half of that mileage. This was my first set of Continentals and purchased based on good reviews (at the time) and also was rated at the longest tread life in my 19" size I needed. Tires are very near needing replacement at 21,000 miles and I will end up getting HALF of the stated tread life for this tire.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best tires I have owned!! I drive a 2015 Mustang that came with Pirelli P-zero tires; there were fine, but nothing great. When those wore out at 23,000 miles (!), I went with these Extreme Contact Continentals. Living in Utah, with its full range of seasons, I wanted a high performance, all-season tire. These do not disappoint. Great traction, performance, and a quiet, smooth ride in dry conditions - better than the Pirelli. And in the cold, and rain and snow, they have been great. Amazing water displacement on wet, rainy roads, and also great traction in cold, snowy conditions. I will buy these tires again. I recommend them to anyone needing high performance, all-season tires!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these tires on my Mercedes GL550!! These are the 2nd set of CrossContact Extremes I have put on my suv and I will keep buying these until they are no longer available or until the car dies! Though to find a 21in tire that has a grip and handling on any surface. Highway driving is quiet and plush. Only got 25K miles out of my first set but that was expected out of a heavy 4 wheel drive suv that tears up the road. Always rotated the tires and properly inflated them. When it was time to get a new set, I called Continental's customer service to inquire about my 5 year warranty and wear and they gladly too care of me! I am a customer for life because of how they and my MB dealership did a phenomenal job in taking care of me!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Tire. I have 2 BMW's, 2009 Z4 35I which i have the original Extreme Contact DWS tires placed on it. I raised the air pressure 4lbs more (33 to 37). The ride changed significantly. The ride was much smoother and quieter without sacrificing performance. It performed well in all seasons includung snow. The second vehicle is a 2007 X3 3.0SI M series badge with Sport kit. Having the performance package made the vehicle ride rough, the DWS06 tires also smoothed out the ride and enhanced the the performance. I have not been through a winter season with the 06's yet, but am confident they will exceed all my expectations. I truly love the DWS tires and will perchase them as long as they are in production.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Traction and quiet I bought these a month ago and love them. The factory tire on my 2016 Mustang with performance package were constantly fighting for traction. I live in the Northwest where the temperatures are below 47 degrees most mornings and yjr weather tends to be wet alot of the time. The factory tires were always a handful, you always had to very light on the gas unless you wanted to break the tires loose everytime you started out. The DWS06 tires have great traction, no more having to be extra cautious starting out and they stick when cornering. Great traction even when cold out. highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Happy Today is Oct 6 2017. I bought these tires from Butler Tires in Alpharetta GA on Mar 03 2016. I have put approximately 12,000 miles on these tires and am very happy with their overall performance...to include wear, handling, road-noise, and ride-comfort. My car is a 2009, 135i with factory staggered-fitment. That said, I have been through several sets of tires. And, generally, the rears wear far-faster than the fronts. This is the first set of tires whereby I am NOT looking at replacing the rears. They still look good, tread-wise, and the DWS is still visible in the tread. Needless to say, I am extremely pleased with these tires. And I will be looking for this exact tire when I need new tires.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Wet and Dry Handling For some time now when it came time to purchase new tires to replace the worn OEMs, I have purchased the Continental ExtremeContact DWS and now DWS06. These tires exhibit excellent wet and dry handling characteristics, but I have to mentioned a word of caution regarding the new DWS06. These tires provide a much firmer ride than the former DWS model. You will feel every pebble in the road. Still an excellent tire though. I have this new model mounted on a 2013 Buick Verano Turbo and the degradation in ride quality from the OEM ContiProContact was extreme, but the car handles so much better now and does slide around on bends in the rain as the OEM tires did as they neared their end of life.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Less than 60K I bought these tires in August of last year. From Aug. 2016 to YTD, I have only put 37K on these tires - Meaning that this tire should still have 20K miles of tread life left. Giving the quality and the name that this company is known for, my quality of standards of them have significantly lowered. This is very disappointing as well as misleading for the warranty being that this was the main reason as to why I decided to choose this brand. Besides the major negative of this tire, they are great in wet and dry conditions which is a plus, but once again does not override the tread life.
