Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not sure about the others... Got these tires as they received better reviews than the factory Michelins that were OEM on my Accord - there was absolutely no increase in road noise, however, I did notice fuel economy was slightly better, and the traction, even during the break-in period was better than when I first got the car. For those of you saying they bubble, damage, or wear easily - I think that's user error. If you rotate properly, and do your alignment properly, shouldn't be any wear issues; and I've hit some pretty bad potholes in my area, which warranted several alignments, no issue with tires. Once again, Your mileage may vary, but what do I know? I only drive for a living.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wish there were a "Great" between "Good and Excel" I purchased these tires before a trip into snow country, my mileage took a hit but it has come back as the tires have broken in. Prius's have electric heat so that accounts for some of the mileage loss. The mileage is where the car is EPA rated or better, handling in snowy and wet driving rain is excellent, even deep puddles not a problem, no loss of traction observed, I have put 3K miles on them. Some road surfaces are noisier than others but overall the Pure Contact tires are pretty good. We drive rather than fly so premium tires are a necessity on the red roads we like to drive to really see America. Wish the tires were made in USA, that would have been a real PLUS.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice Grip, Bad Treadlife I have a set of 4 PureContact 205/50R17 tires on my 2010 Mazda3 Grand Touring. I had one tire replaced after 7k mi due to a sidewall crack that appeared with no apparent cause. I've rotated the tires every 5,000 miles and maintained proper pressure. My typical driving includes mostly highway, some city, and along a winding road through the hills on the way to work. After 28k mi and 26 months the tires are down to 4/32" at most and need to be replaced soon. I'm disappointed I didn't get the advertised 70k miles. I've emailed continental about a warranty claim.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great tire, except for the noise Pure Contacts went on my Cadillac CTS 18 months / 15,000 miles ago. For the first 10,000 miles, they were excellent in all aspects. Just after that they began to drone VERY loudly from 35 to 70 mph. They literally sound like mud tires on a 4x4 truck! The tread is wearing evenly and the wheels are properly aligned. The previous Bridgestone Turanza Serenity's were quiet but were worn out at 27,000. At the current wear rate, these will reach 40,000 miles (despite the 70,000 mile warranty), if I can put up with the noise.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Comfort, Grip, Noise NOISIEST TIRES ON THE MARKET. These Continental DWS-6 All-Seasons are extremely comfortable, offer great traction and control, but are unbearably noisy at speeds above 25mph. Audis are famously good at blocking exterior noise. In my Audi, these tires sound like all 4 windows are rolled down, and they're brand new. They're noisy at 30 psi, and at 40 psi (51 is the max on these tires). I can't drown out the noise with the stereo. At highway speed with the radio blaring, I can still hear the tires. I couldn't imagine taking a long road trip on these. I understand a treadwear above 400 can be loud, but not enough customers mentioned this. Be warned: they're loud. I hear Continental has a customer satisfaction policy in which they will allow an exchange. I'll look into it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Tire - Warranty Info needed I did a lot of research before buying my tires and I purchased a package and went ahead and replaced all four even though two of them really didn't need replaced at that time. I'm not even two years in and one of them went flat because of a pothole today. now I'm reading on your site that I had a three-year flat complementary towing or a flat tire repair when I wasn't given any of that information to begin with. and I had to pay for the repair. Will I get reimbursed for that since it is still under warranty? thank you! I like my tires but I'm disappointed this wasn't told to me and I'm just now finding out about it while looking for a replacement tire. The review is for complimenting the tire, while letting others know this flat tire warranty may not be disclosed by your local dealer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Drive! So far I've driven about 2000 miles on these tires. The second I pulled out of the tire installer I was in love. These tires handle very well. I would consider myself a very spirited driver. The PureContact tires really grab the road and feel planted. Cornering ability and fast maneuvers are a breeze. With my old tires I used to burnout when I was on a hill and it was raining. With these tires I can confidently say no more. Wet traction is very good. Because I drive a 2WD car and don't drive in the snow, I cannot report on the snow traction. All aspects of these tires are great, but easily my favorite part is the fuel efficiency. I get about 50 more gallons on one tank, which is pretty awesome. So far I am very pleased. Hopefully I will be by the treadlife as well. Definitely consider these tires!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good mpg I purchased these in Feb 2015 during the famous snow storm in Virginia Beach. I've noticed improved grip over my other tires OHTSU FP7000 (A cheap sub-brand of Falken). Also my MPGs on a 2009 Mazda 6 increased by about 3-4 more !!! (Depends on weather conditions). Car is stock. I can't hear or notice a noise or comfort improvement but snow traction was improved in moderate 2-3 inches of snow and also the MPGs went UP. I am so far happy with the tire with just 2000 miles on it.
