Continental Tire Partners with Alex Morgan in Celebrating Soccer Campaign

FORT MILL, S.C. – Continental Tire has teamed with United States Women’s National Soccer Team (USWNT) Co-Captain Alex Morgan as part of its Celebrating Soccer campaign. The initiative celebrates the stories of the people that make soccer the incredible sport that it is: the players, the fans, and the supporters groups.

Morgan is featured in a 2019 Continental Tire commercial that tells the story of her rise to fame, her memorable soccer moments, and her free time spent away from the pitch.

Voted the 2018 U.S. Soccer Female Player of the Year, Morgan scored against nine different countries last year and moved to third place all-time in U.S. history in multi-goal games. In addition to her USWNT duties, she also plays for the Orlando Pride in the NWSL and played in 1,500 minutes over 19 games and had five goals with two assists.

“Alex Morgan is a hugely talented player and her passions align with Continental’s, so it was a good fit to work together,” said Continental Tire Director of Marketing, Travis Roffler. “Alex has a compelling story and we felt that it was one to be shared with our fellow soccer fans. We’re eagerly this year’s games and wish Alex and the entire United States Women’s National Team a fantastic 2019.”

Also featured in Continental Tire’s Celebrating Soccer campaign are Tobin Heath, Clint Dempsey, Russell Canouse, and Sean Johnson. Continental has also featured fans and supporter groups in the campaign.
