Laurent Ciman, Defender, LAFC
Q. What do you think has been the biggest MLS matchup of all time?
A. There have been plenty of matches, and the biggest one is always the MLS Cup. I don’t know about previous matches, but I think LAFC with the Galaxy is going to be the biggest and I have the feeling it’s going to be like the NYC FC vs. the Red Bulls – those games are always very good.
Q. How do you spend your down time?
A. Usually I just spend time with my family. I work hard and train a lot but after that I just try to spend time with my wife and my kids. In Montreal there were a lot of parks and the kids liked to go outside and hang out or go for a walk. I think it will be the same here (in LA).
Q. What is the greatest piece of advice you have received?
A. Nobody gave me particular advice, and I wasn’t really a fan of anybody but Paolo Maldini was someone I looked to for inspiration growing up.
Q. What has been your greatest accomplishment?
A. So far it’s been the experience with the Belgian national team – particularly with the World Cup in Brazil.
