Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sticky and confidence-inspiring The 5Ps were the original equipment tires on my '13 C63 AMG. I absolutely loved them. When it was time for new tires, I temporarily switched to the ExtremeContact DW tires, which were also great (particularly in wet conditions). This summer, I decided to purchase and install a new set of 5Ps. I am thrilled with my decision. These tires are incredibly sticky; the grip is phenomenal. After a few hundred miles worth of break-in, the tires are facilitating great steering feel. Turn in is sharp, crisp, and precise. The ride is comfortable and quiet. In sum, these are outstanding max performance summer tires.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good on track, not for daily driving These tires were OEM on my Audi A3 with sport package. Tires are good from performance point of view with excellent traction and cornering. However, for daily driving on uneven roads and potholes, these tires are a nightmare. They are loud, stiff and uncomfortable. You'll feel each and every bump on the road which made my driving very unpleasant. I changed these tires just after two months to another excellent product from Continental - ExtremeContact DW. So bottom line: for race track - yes, for daily driving - no!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not enough Life I was happy with the tires until the tread life was 20 thousand miles (less than 12 months)... I have bought multiple tires and by far these tires have been the least tread life I have had. Not recommended for everyday driving... switch to another tire. these tires were standard on my A5 and I was told there would be no warranty coverage on them because they are performance tires... at this rate if I'd purchase again I would buy new tires every year... plus balancing and alignment... I am religious on rotation!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I got 5600 miles out of this tire in my Tesla I picked up a nail after driving 5600 miles on these tires on my Tesla. I don't drive hard, I have kept them properly inflated, and the treads look fine. When I took it into Discount Tire where I bought the tires to have the nail removed, the refused to fix it because there is not enough tread left on the inside treads. I put Michelin Super Sports on the front and they still look brand new. I would never recommend this tire, its expensive and it wears out too quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They should call these Never Slips I have a 2017 GLE 63S in Texas. 325/35’s on the rear and 285/40’s on the front. MB Recommended pressure is 44 psi back 41 front. Yes. It’s a rough ride at this pressure but it’s nice for highways and tollways. Lowered the, to 38 psi all around and it gives a more comfortable ride but I rather feel the road so I’m bringing them back up a little. There isn’t much tread to begin with so you may get 10-15k miles on it a the most. I Should get 12k on mine with spirited driving. Based on the specs Continental gives, this is no secret. Traction has been great in wet and dry weather. I have never slipped on normal acceleration on wet roads. 577 horses full throttle of course will slip. They are great sport tires and do its job. I agree with Conti’s specs across the board. I would buy them again especially since they are 100$ cheaper per tire than the Pirelli’s for my vehicle.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Really hated them Continental ContiSportContact 5P MO summer tires came standard on my S63 Cabriolet. Now that I've replaced them after 11,000 miles, I can't imagine a worse tire. They're hard as rocks with a terrible ride, have miserable tread life, they make a horrible crabbing/skipping during slow speed turns at any temperature below 65 degrees, they break free under moderate cornering forces, and they're very loud.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Mileage These tires were OEM on my 2017 Golf R. This is a stage 2+ tuned car which is driven aggressively. I just replaced all four at 29,300 miles. I probably could have made it past 30K but picked up a nail in the passenger front and decided it was time to replace them. Properly rotated at every 5K. Excellent tire!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tire for the Macan S Excellent ride and handling, and quiet! I've so many tires that suffer from road noise and vibration. No such problem with these. Have 22,700 miles on my Porsche Macan S and probably still have a couple thousand miles before they reach the wear bands. I will definitely replace the tires with these OEMs.
