Rated 3 out of 5 by from Noisy but great turning response I had a set of Continental DWS UHP tires on my Mazda three. One was ruined in a pothole. The store said that these Control Contact Sport A/S were very similar. They replaced 2 tires. The old DWS are not very noisy while the newer Conrol Contact Sport A/S are noisier than any other tire I can remember. They seem to make more noise at low speeds than high ones. Some people may not be bothered by the noise but I don't like it. I would select are tire with less performance that was quieter. I can say that for cornering if you turn the wheel fast the tires respond better than any other tire I have used...that part is super fun.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tires not worth changing from DWS 06 After 2 sets of the DWS 06 all season I tried the Discount Tire exclusive - Control Contact Sport A/S. Thankfully DT honored their 30-day ride guarantee as I now have Extreme Contact DWS 06 back on my Audi. What a difference! The CC may have stronger sidewall per my research, but the ride is too rough compared to the DWS 06 model. I do not plan on changing again. My only concern with the DWS 06 is if the mileage will get close to the 50K Continental Warranty. Regardless, if they don't I know DT will work with me as a Continental Dealer to get another credit on my next set. This set I received 60% credit as only lasted about 23K miles which was surprising.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Little Noisy I bought these tires for my 2010 Honda Accord and have been pleased for the most part. On the plus side, they look good and, based on sidewall specs, I expect good service from them They're also round (don't laugh - I've bought tires in the past that bounced all their way around and found out that it wasn't the balance; the tire just wasn't round). On the minus side, they're kinda noisy. My wife noticed it at first. It's not all the time, the car needs to be going at least 30 mph and the road needs to be smooth. They get louder the faster we go - up to 70 mph. I don't know about faster. I don't know if it's tread depth or pattern. We can tune it out, but these are quite noisier than the Michelins that we replaced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good ride and handling I replaced the stock Michelins on my 2012 Genesis with these tires on a trip to Colorado because of damage to one of the original tires. Let me emphasise that these tires are NOT noisy! Driving through Nebraska at 75-80 miles an hour with no more noise than the MIchelins. These tire have a good ride quality and handling, and provide a more aggresive tread pattern than the orighinal tires (one of the things I wanted with replacement tires). I'm waiting for winter to evaluate the snow traction ability of these tires.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top notch all-season performance tires So far, just as good as the Continental ExtremeContact Sport DWS tires I previously had, and they were the best A/S performance tires I have ever used. I've put these through a full season (including snow) and they have performed admirably. For reference, I've driven on a variety of A/S performance tires to include Goodyear Eagle GT A/S, BFGoodrich g-force Sport A/S, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S, and Bridgestone Potenza A/S. Had them on RWD Infiniti, BMW, and MB. Continental A/S performance tires are the best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very smooth ride I bought a set of 4 to replace my factory originals on my 2015 Honda Accord Sport. The stock tires were 235/45/18, and we're noisy and had a rough ride. I went with a taller tire, 235/55/18, and the car rides so much better.. and it's almost an inch higher off the ground. No more scraping on parking lot stop bars! I find the ride to be very smooth, not noisy at all.. The cornering and such seems great to me.. Maybe I'm getting old (57) but I really like these tire a whole lot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not really an all season tire. I have a set of these on my Crown Vic. I live in Denver, CO and was told by the salesman that they would be a good replacement for the all-season tires that needed to be replaced. I bought the car used and was able to get two seasons out of the the tire I had. Dry and wet (rain) conditions with the Contact Sports and the tires are great. If there is just a bit of snow, my car is all over the place. Two inches of snow and I could barley make it up a slight incline (I mean slight) up to my kids school. Barley touch the pedal and they just spin (the car is stock). I know it is a rear wheel drive, but c'mon. I basically do not have an all season tire and wish I had not bought these. Should have went with the something a little more aggressive, but wanted an all season. Now I have to get a set of 'winter tires' just to make it through a little snow. Lesson learned.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Cold Spot Flat tire ever I bought these back min November as a replacement for Extreme Contact DWS. Huge mistake. These things ride like octagon shaped tires in the morning. They don't usually smooth out for 5 to 7 miles and then they're still no where near as smooth or quiet as the DWS' were. I can't keep them balanced, been in the shop 4 times in 5k miles. I've owned a lot on Continentals in the past and these are a huge disappointment.
