Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tires for my 2005 Jaguar S-Type sedan I installed a set of 235/50/17 H-rated PureContact tires on my 2005 Jaguar S-Type sedan in October 2015. Now 15,000 miles later, they have been the best bang-for-the-buck tires for this particular car thus far (better than the Hankooks it came with, and better than the Dunlops that I installed when the Hankooks wore out). Quiet, comfortable ride, straight highway tracking, great wet braking, they hold their pressures well, and very even treadwear thus far. The Hankooks lasted 36,000 miles, the Dunlops lasted 38,000 miles, and I hope that these PureContacts will last significantly longer than either of the previous sets. Time will tell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These tires live up to their great reputation I bought these tires based on the glowing reviews they received from other purchasers and recommendations in print-media I read. They definitely have lived up to those reviews and recommendations. After 20,000 miles in service, they still look like new tires. The tread is holding up well, showing little wear. They provide great traction and perform well year round. They provide better handling and a more comfortable ride than the tires that were the original equipment on my sport sedan. I also saw a slight up-tick in my car's fuel economy, which I attribute to the ECOPLUS technology used in the tire compound. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not sure about the others... Got these tires as they received better reviews than the factory Michelins that were OEM on my Accord - there was absolutely no increase in road noise, however, I did notice fuel economy was slightly better, and the traction, even during the break-in period was better than when I first got the car. For those of you saying they bubble, damage, or wear easily - I think that's user error. If you rotate properly, and do your alignment properly, shouldn't be any wear issues; and I've hit some pretty bad potholes in my area, which warranted several alignments, no issue with tires. Once again, Your mileage may vary, but what do I know? I only drive for a living.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE these tires!!! I never ever write reviews! So, that is how strongly I feel about these tires. I had Defenders and P4s prior to these and I can't even quntify how much more I like thee over those. They are very very responsive tires. I have never expereinced such responsiveness!!! Seems like the gas mileage may be a little less, but then my car a 2009 Corolla with 185,000 miles is getting a little older. If I trade this car in I would be tempted to trade the new tires from the new car with my used Continental PureContacts. I like them that much. I rated treadlife 4 but I really haven't had them long enough to know one way or the other.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Overall Performance Bought these for a 2009 Toyota Corolla, they replaced another set of Continental Tires that likewise performed well. They handle well, and clearly indicate when they are rated for Snow or Wet roads, which is a great feature. We once crashed a car when it slid on a wet road after the coin test indicated there was sufficient tread. They are promptly replaced when the tires get down to the Dry rating, we do not limit driving to only when the sun shines. We did noticed that they provide improved gas milage. They provide high overall levels of traction, comfort and economy at a very reasonable price (particularly at Oxford A-1 Tire and Gas, Rt. 31, Oxford NJ).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wish there were a "Great" between "Good and Excel" I purchased these tires before a trip into snow country, my mileage took a hit but it has come back as the tires have broken in. Prius's have electric heat so that accounts for some of the mileage loss. The mileage is where the car is EPA rated or better, handling in snowy and wet driving rain is excellent, even deep puddles not a problem, no loss of traction observed, I have put 3K miles on them. Some road surfaces are noisier than others but overall the Pure Contact tires are pretty good. We drive rather than fly so premium tires are a necessity on the red roads we like to drive to really see America. Wish the tires were made in USA, that would have been a real PLUS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love thes tires! This was my second set of Pure Contacts on my Volvo V90. Over the last 20 years I have had the opportunity to try a number of different tires on this car, and these were by far the best three season tires ( I have winter tires and wheels) I have used. The V90 is known for comfort and these tires complemented that style while offering excellent wet performance, good lateral grip on all the decreasing radius entrance ramps, they are quiet, and quite comfortable. They track very well on the highway. When I did need to use them in snow they performed well. I no longer use the car as my daily driver so I expect this set will last until age makes it prudent to replace them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth ride, quiet and better gas mileage! This is my second summer on the PureContact tires. I drive a 6 cylinder Honda Crosstour 4WD. They handle all road and weather conditions especially wet roads with grace and ease! They are very quiet and give me a somewhat soft ride which I like. I was surprised and happy to see a 2 MPG improvement in gas mileage. I have deadicated winter tires but an early North Dakota snow storm was no problem for The Continental PureContact tires. I rotate tires with each oil change and even with a lot of highway and unimproved road time I see no tread wear. I like the DWS tire wear indicator on the tread. They were a good replacement for the Michelin’s that wore out way before they should have.
